How much are tickets?
Ticket prices are $12.00 (with a $0.50 PayPal service fee for online orders) per person for ages 12 and over. Children under twelve are admitted free of charge but must be accompanied by an adult.
Tours are being run by OMC Hospice of the Foothills. 100% of the proceeds benefit their important community programs.


When do the tours run?
Tours will run from Thursday - Sunday weekly starting on July 10th thru July 27th 2008 (10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily). The last tour will start at 4.30 p.m. and the house will close at 5:00 p.m. promptly each day.

The front gates at the Reserve close at 4.15 p.m sharp. If visitors arrive after 4:15pm they will have to return the following day. The showhouse closes at 5:00pm sharp. 45 minutes will not be sufficient time to conduct a tour.

Please note: Access to the home is only allowed from the Reserve Villages center and provided event transportations. We must have registered each guest in order for you to enter the home.

Important!! House will be closed Monday – Wednesday each week.

How do I sign up for the tours once I get a ticket?
The Village center at The Reserve at Lake Keowee will be open daily for ticket sales and access to the AH&L home. This is the location for all event transportations, food & beverage purchases and to learn more about life at the Reserve at Lake Keowee.

Please note that access to the house is through private event transportations only. There will be a dedicated tour registration desk under the main event tent at the village center. Transportation pick up locations can be found at the village center only. Showhouse transportations are via by boat. Please wear comfortable walking shoes. Only soft-soled shoes will be allowed in the home, shoe covers will be provided at the show house that must be worn at all times while touring the home.

Private sales tours of the Reserve at Lake Keowee can be arranged before your visit or when you are on property. We recommend pre-registration for sales tours prior to your visit to ensure your needs are fully met. What are the Rules & Regulations for the Showhouse?
We thank you for your patronage and kind support of our charitable associations. To maximize your enjoyment we ask that you kindly observe the following house guidelines:

  • Please listen to the requests of our charity volunteers staged throughout the house
  • House tours are subject to closure without notice due to inclement weather conditions.
  • The Showhouse is a three-story, private residence and has very restricted handicapped accessibility. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause your party.
  • Flat, soft-soled shoes are required in the house. Please avoid high heels. All guests will be required to wear booties on their outdoor shoes when inside the house.
  • The Showhouse is unfortunately inaccessible to strollers and wheelchairs.
  • Showhouse transportation will be via water.
  • All guests will be required to wear booties on their outdoor shoes- please leave these for others to use when your tour is complete.
  • No smoking, tobacco products, food or beverage permitted in the AHL Show House.
  • No chewing gum will be allowed within the house
  • No Sitting, standing or jumping on house furniture
  • Please do not move, remove or pick up any objects in the house
  • Please remain within the immediate vicinity of the AHL Show House as there are dangerous natural and manmade conditions existing on the property.

Directions from Atlanta, GA: Take I-85 North to SC Exit #1 - Highway 11. Continue on Hwy 11 for approximately40 miles and turn right on Highway 133. Travel on Hwy. 133, approximately 1 mile to the main entrance on your right.

Directions from Greenville, SC and Charlotte NC: Take I-85 South towards Atlanta and exit at Hwy 153 - Easley. Follow Hwy 153to Hwy 123, and on into Easley. Veer to your right in Easley onto Hwy. 93 going to Pickens. Hwy. 93 will turn into Hwy 8. Follow into Pickens. Turn left at the McDonalds in Pickens and travel 2 miles to Shady Grove Road (after the Mobil station on your right). Turn right onto Shady Grove Road. Go 7 miles to Hwy 133. At the stop sign, turn right on Hwy 133. Travel approximately 2 miles to the main entrance on your left.

Directions from Columbia, SC: Take Hwy. 26 north towards Greenville, Exit onto Hwy. 385. Travel on Hwy. 385 towards Greenville to Hwy. 185 (toll road). Take Hwy. 185 towards Atlanta and exit onto Hwy. 153 to Easley. Follow Hwy 153 to Hwy 123, and on into Easley. Veer to your right in Easley onto Hwy. 93 going to Pickens. Directions from Asheville, NC: Take Hwy. 26 south out of Asheville, NC. Once you get just south of Hendersonville, NC you will take exit 23 onto Hwy. 25 going towards Greenville, SC. Travel on Hwy. 25 south approximately 15 miles to Hwy. 11 (Cherokee Foothills Scenic Highway). Travel West on Hwy. 11 approximately 35 miles to Hwy. 133. Turn left onto Hwy.133 and travel approximately 1 mile to the main entrance on your right.
